Oath of Balance

The Oath of Balance is sworn by those who seek harmony between light and darkness, law and chaos. Holy Crusaders of this oath walk the thin line between extremes, acting as agents of equilibrium. They seek to prevent the rise of one force over another, ensuring that the cosmic scales remain level.

Tenets of Balance

Maintain the Scales: No force, be it light or dark, can rise unchecked.

Resist Extremes: Passion and indifference, order and chaos — all must be kept in check.

Protect the Middle Path: Stand between opposing forces and guide them toward harmony.

Channel Divinity

Equilibrium Strike: As an action, you can channel the forces of balance to strike a target within 30 feet. The target must succeed on a PE saving throw or take radiant or necrotic damage (your choice) equal to 2d8 + your Holy Crusader level.

Weigh the Scales: As a reaction, you can force a creature within 10 feet to reroll an attack roll or saving throw.

Spell-Like Abilities

Aura of Harmony: Starting at 7th level, allies within 10 feet have advantage on saving throws against being charmed or frightened. At 14th level, the range increases to 30 feet.

Balanced Mind: At 10th level, you gain immunity to psychic damage and the charmed and frightened conditions.

Force of Balance: At 15th level, you can use an action to create a 30-foot radius zone of balance for 1 minute. While in this zone, all creatures have disadvantage on attack rolls and saving throws if they are aligned to either Good or Evil.
