Fulgur Stormwind

Blacksmith/Town Guard Commander

Born to a human mercenary and an Elven healer, Fulgur was raised between two worlds, never fully accepted by either. When his father died in battle, he was left in the care of his mother's people, who saw him as too wild and human. Determined to prove himself, he left the Elven lands as a young man and found his place in Newhaven, working as a blacksmith's apprentice. His natural strength and combat skill soon caught the attention of the town guard, and he quickly rose through the ranks, eventually becoming Captain of the Guard while still tending the forge.

Fulgur Stormwind is a towering, broad-shouldered half-elf, his muscular frame hardened by years at both the forge and in battle. His sharp Elven features are contrasted by a rugged human toughness, and his storm-gray eyes carry the weight of experience. His dark hair, streaked with silver, is long but practical, though a few unruly strands always manage to fall loose. Unlike many smiths, he remains clean-shaven, refusing to let a beard get in the way of his work or discipline. The countless scars along his arms and shoulders speak to a lifetime of conflict, each a silent testament to the battles he has fought.

Fulgur is fearless and unwavering, not due to recklessness, but because he has survived too much to be easily shaken. A man of discipline and action, he speaks plainly and expects others to do the same. Though his gruff demeanor makes him seem unapproachable, those who earn his respect discover a committed protector and mentor beneath the hardened exterior. Fulgur believes in order, discipline, and self-reliance. Whether forging a blade or training a recruit, he expects the best from himself and those around him. He has little patience for weakness, but he will train and protect those who show determination.

Fulgur is Stoic & Unyielding, he does not break, bend, or yield, whether facing an enemy in battle or working metal at the forge. He is respected, not loved by his men who follow him because he demands excellence, not because he is friendly. He is proud of his craft and treats both weapons and warriors as works of art, shaping them with fire and discipline. Always the reluctant leader, he never sought command, but his natural strength, skill, and honour made him the obvious choice. Now, he keeps Newhaven's weapons sharp and its streets safe.
